#please note that this is not an anti finn post#i just find it super fucking crazy where we are right now with clarke and the relationships in her life#in comparison to how it was in the beginning of season 1#i love the positve character development of bellamy#he fell into the role of leader#a lot of power was kind of given to him and we got to see how it could be used#irresponsibly and then how others are capable of having an impact on him#how clarke specfically taught him what it meant to lead and how to stay true to yourself in a time of darkness#but still how sometimes certain things needed to be done whether they wanted to or not#then we have finn who was so set on peace that at times he was even little naive but he had a good heart#he always meant well#but death and destruction can take its tole on a person#and not every character is going to devlop postivley from it#it makes sense for there to be negative drawbacks to living through something like this at such a young age#and at this point i think its pretty obvious that finns ‘love’ for clarke is toxic#and to see that play out is terrifying#i mean what he did to this village is /terrifying/#but everyone is capable of horrible things#even the people you least expect which i find really exciting#i mean what finn did was unforgiveable but bellamy and murphy and kane have done unforgivable things as well and abby HIT raven across the face#raven who was probably abused as a child and even clarke has killed someone…#basically what im saying is we never know what to expect when it comes to these characters and i think that makes for good television via bellblake
